In order for peaceful coexistence to be possible for everyone, rules are needed. These are set out in the house rules. The house rules apply to all residents and are part of the rental agreement.

Smokers

In most cases, smoking is prohibited in the stairwell, in the elevator and in the common areas.

There are also apartments that are only given to people who do not smoke.

Common spaces

Do not leave personal belongings in the hallway, corridors and other common areas.

In the hallway, you are only allowed to transport heavy objects (boxes, furniture, etc.) over stairs and floors with a protective surface.

Disposing of waste

Do not leave the garbage bag in the hallway. If there is a container, you need to deposit the garbage directly there.

Waste may only be deposited or stored in the designated places.

Do not throw hard objects, ashes, rubbish waste, hygienic pads and disposable diapers, cat litter, etc. into the toilet.

Barbecue

When barbecuing on the balconies and garden seating, you should be considerate of the other residents of the house.

Rest periods

Both the night's rest and other rest periods must be observed. In principle, the following rest periods apply:

Afternoon rest: from 12 noon to 1 p.m.

Night's restfrom 8 or 10 p.m. to 6 or 7 a.m.

Public Sundays and public holidays: all day

Make music

You are only allowed to make music after 8:00 a.m. and only until 9:00 p.m. It is also not allowed over lunchtime from 12.00 - 13.00.

Music equipment and TV may only be so loud that they do not disturb other neighbors (room volume).

Parking spaces, garages, parking spaces

Private parking and garage spaces are used by tenants for a fee.

Visitor parking spaces are not intended for tenants, but only for their visitors.

Bicycles, motorcycles and strollers can be parked in the designated places.

Cleaning

In a residential building, the caretaker is responsible for the public places such as stairwell, basement corridor, hallway, etc.) responsible.

He also takes care of snow removal in winter.

If there is no caretaker, you as a tenant must do this yourself.

Doing laundry

If you share the laundry room with the other tenants,  then there is usually a washing plan.

After use, clean the laundry room for the next tenant.

The washing machine or tumble dryer may not be used from 22.00-06.00.

Garden and courtyard

The administration or caretaker determines how you are allowed to use the gardens and the yard.
