House rules
Rules are needed to ensure that peaceful coexistence is possible for everyone. These are laid down in the house rules. The house rules apply to all residents and are part of the rental agreement.
Smokers
Smoking is usually prohibited in the stairwell, in the elevator and in the common rooms.
There are also apartments that are only given to people who do not smoke.
Common spaces
Do not deposit personal belongings in the hallway, corridors and other common areas.
In the hallway, you may only transport heavy objects (boxes, furniture, etc.) over stairs and floors with a protective surface.
Disposing of waste
Do not leave the garbage bag in the hallway. If there is a container, you must deposit the waste directly there.
You may only deposit or store waste in the designated places.
Do not throw hard objects, ashes, rubbish waste, hygienic pads and disposable diapers, cat litter, etc. into the toilet.
Grilling
When barbecuing on the balconies and garden seats, you should be considerate of the other residents of the house.
Quiet hours
Both the night's rest and other rest periods must be observed. In principle, the following rest periods apply:
Afternoon rest: from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
Night's rest: from 8 or 10 p.m. to 6 or 7 a.m.
Public Sundays and public holidays: all day
Making music
They are only allowed to play music after 8:00 a.m. and only until 9:00 p.m. It is also not allowed over lunchtime from 12.00 - 13.00.
Music devices and TV must only be loud enough that they do not disturb other neighbors (room volume).
Parking lots, garages, parking spaces
Private parking and garage spaces are used by tenants for a fee.
Visitor parking spaces are not intended for tenants, but only for their visitors.
Bicycles, motorcycles and prams can be parked in the designated places.
Cleaning
In a residential building, the caretaker is responsible for public places such as stairwell, cellar corridor, hallway, etc.) .
He also takes care of snow removal in winter.
If there is no caretaker, you as a tenant must do this yourself.
Washing clothes
If you share the laundry room with the other tenants, then there is usually a laundry plan.
After use, clean the laundry room for the next tenant.
The washing machine or tumble dryer may not be used from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m.
Garden and courtyard
The administration or the caretaker determines how you are allowed to use the gardens and the courtyard.
